Middle School

The Middle School at Champagnat Catholic College Pagewood encompasses Years 7, 8 and 9. The curriculum in the Middle School is authentic, rich, wholistic and very much centred upon the student. Academic performance and learning needs are strong focal points in the Middle School.

The Middle School is also where students engage in a wide variety of subjects to assist them in determining the pathway that best suits their needs for Senior School.



To assist students in this regard, they study courses across Year 7 and 8 including:

  • Personal Development, Health and Physical Education

  • Languages Other than English (currently Japanese)

When students enter Year 9, in addition to Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography and PDHPE, students select two elective courses tailored to their personal interests and growing awareness around pathway options in the Senior School.
